Quick Update

Well, I got scoped today...TWICE. Dr. Pou had a little bit of sympathy when I told her I was going to see Dr. Fields after my appointment with her and that he would probably scope me then, but she didn't have enough sympathy to not scope me. She's brutal. Dr. Fields asked who was better at scoping and I told him he was, Dr. Pou is just not very gentle with the scope. Either way it's not very pleasant. So, my doctors all said I looked good and my PET scan will be sometime in October.

Today I tried drinking my formula junk instead of using the pump, but I had to start back on the pump this afternoon. My stomach is not used to having any significant amounts of food in it at one time and after drinking one can, I was full for a few hours (I still am), and the taste, OH the taste, was AWFUL! So, I'm going to have to skip this liquid stage and go straight to the solids as best I can.

So that's all for now...maybe Warner will update at some point. I'm going to go watch the women's gymnastics that I recorded last night!

Hey Stephanie, I saw the funniest thing today and thought of you! The car in front of me had a HUGE "Edgar" dog in the backseat. He has his big ole head as far out the window as he could and you could see the wind whippin' his slobbers all over the place!! We have had days in the low 80's and hardly no humidity(unheard of in August in Arkansas!) Anyway, it made me laugh! Hugs from Arkansas Cindy

You are probably aware by now, but watching those gymnastics probably isn't the funnest thing to do. Though I do feel pretty bad for the girl who fell a couple times, she's never gonna forgive herself it seems.

Stephanie,
We do keep up and are so proud that you are taking such strides and doing it with so much class! I have been told (by guess who) that we need to read the comments and add ours. So.........here it is: you are both so awesome in all this adversity! We are also keeping Grammy up to date with the blog. Love you

Hi Stephanie,

Your doctors must love seeing you because you are such a trooper!!!
Each day there's healing going on. Must not seem like it at times, huh?!!!
But you're not forgotten. We keep praying and the Lord keeps hearing and answering. He's got you right in the palm of His Hand, so you're in a special safe place.

Love you,
Diane

I find myself torn between a twenty three old daughter and a eighty eight year mother.
I love them both.
Life is a strange mix of age and youth.
At fifty six I still see life as a new day to be met with vigor and wonder at what she has to offer at the next turn.
Stephanie, I hope each day brings to you the wonder of life and you anticipate the challenges that it brings.
Tomorrow brings new adventures, new people that you have never met. What a great life!
I hope you find the courage to meet each day and anticipate each and every day.
Love you and look for the strength of character that you need to get to the next level of your life.
Love you and will see you soon.

Love,

Dado
