Now I'm the One That Should be Sleeping

Well here it is a little under six hours before my alarm goes off to tell me to go to work and for some reason I am wide awake. Today was another tough day for me as I had to make a bunch of phone calls to cancel stuff we had planned. There was the trip to Tulsa in May, LASIK for me in May, Stephanie's trip to Texas for the family reunion in June, and our trip to Washington in August. Yes I had to cancel stuff all the way out to the end of August, something most of the people on the phone with me didn't understand. Well here's the skinny on that for those of you that are wondering, and that keep asking when we will visit (no names...Slayton). As I said before, Stephanie will have the Surgery on Monday the 19th, and be in the hospital 7-10 days afterwards. 4-6 weeks after the surgery she will start radiation treatments. These treatments will be five days a week (Monday through Friday) for 6 1/2-7 weeks. That puts the end of treatment out possibly 13 weeks from May 19th, or the end of August, and right now we can't really tell when Stephanie will be feeling up to anything.

Thank you all who have been commenting, your comments have brought us hope and made us laugh. Thank you to those that call as well, eventually we will call back, but for the time being we probably won't; however, we enjoy listening to the voice mail as well. Above all your prayers mean the most to us. As hard as it seems to see it, it is impossible to deny God's hand in these circumstances.

Just want you to know that we are praying for you. God is in control, but sometimes it is hard to understand the trials before us. We miss you at small group and church. Just because you are miles from us does not mean that you are forgotten! We will keep you in our prayers.

It's us who should thank you, for allowing us to keep up with you and your life, to see your strength and courage, to see God moving in your life. Our hearts are break and are encouraged by what you both are dealing with, depending on the day and what has happened. Strength and honor.
Chris doesn't have any books left, he lost his crayons and got mad and threw them away, I'll keep looking.
Thank you stephanie
Thank you warner

I love you both! (don't suppose you can fit in a quick visit to Auburn the 17th since all the Moreman kiddos will be here for Luke's ordination?)Just dreaming! We do consider you both one of us!Please know how much we all love you.

I think Susu has a fantastic idea! Get away for a few days and just enjoy each other. Some much-needed rest and relaxation will give you strength for the upcoming surgery and treatments. We are praying for you every day.

Live well, laugh often, love much,
Ashley and Brad

I'm very sure I don't understand the notion of "suffering" and its importance to the christian experience, and probably never will. What I hear, however, is that is visited on the best of us to test our mettle. Well, I believe that is daily being resolved in your favor and that we can expect some divine acknowledgement of that in the next few months. We love you.
